Frisco Ice Hockey

Welcome to the 2022-23 Frisco Pre-Tryout Camp / Fall Tryout Registration

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and sign up for participation in the 2022 Frisco Pre Trout Camp and or Tryouts for the 2022-23 Fall Frisco High School Hockey Season.

FIHA Camp starts August 1st - August 3rd, 2022, and Tryouts will be held from Aug 5th-7th based on Varsity West and East and JV West and East

This is our 6th annual camp designed to give players who are trying out for the Fall season a way to get to know the Frisco coaches. There will be two sessions daily and times will be posted on our website. Our coaches will assign players to the appropriate session. The camp runs three days with 75 minutes on ice and will be split into 2 sessions based on Age.     Goalies will need to reach out to Mike Hogan ( Hockey Director) at drmikehogan@yahoo.com    to be included in the camp.  FIHA wants to make sure that there are not too many goalies in each session.

We will hold our tryouts for our Fall teams on August 5th - 7th for Varsity split into East and West and we will hold a Goalie Evaluation Session on Friday, Aug 5th from 5:45 pm-6:45 pm at the Frisco Comerica Center.     

Frisco Varsity West tryout will be Saturday, Aug 6th from 5:45 pm-6:45 pm while Frisco Varsity East will be Saturday, Aug 6th from 7:00 pm -8:00 pm at the Comerica Center.   

Frisco Junior Varsity tryouts will be held on Aug 7th.       

Frisco JV West tryout will be held from 5:00 pm -6:00 pm and Frisco JV East tryouts will be from 5:15 pm-6:15 pm in Frisco at the Comerica Center.

Varsity and JV, players will be divided based on the High School they are zoned to:

West High Schools - Frisco, Lone Star, Memorial, Reedy, Wakeland, and Panther Creek.

East High Schools - Centennial, Emerson, Heritage, Independence, Lebanon Trail, and Liberty.

PLEASE NOTE: If you will not be in town for tryouts, you must contact us at the address below no later than August 2nd to be eligible for consideration.
The $200 early bird price includes three days of camp and a tryout fee for your skater/goalie. Please note that this camp is optional. Players may choose instead to try out on Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday for a $35 fee. ( Based on Varsity or JV)

• Junior Varsity Eligibility is any player in 7th-10th grade
• Varsity Eligibility is any player from 9th-12th grade.
• NO player in 11th grade (Junior) will be eligible to play Junior Varsity, as well as any player in 7-8th grade, WILL NOT be eligible to play Varsity.
• If you choose to try out for Varsity and do not make the varsity rosters you will then attend the JV tryouts.

After July 25th, the price for the Camp will be $225 and the tryout-only fee will be $55

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2021-2022 Season.

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
• Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
